Tape on Reel

The antistatic reels have a diameter of 330 mm and are fitted for commonly used feeders. Needless to say that the antistatic tapes made of black polystyrene comply with
IEC / EN60286-3.

The tape is covered with a protective transparent foil. The number of pin headers per reel depends on the height of the pin headers as well as the height of the tape

Tray

Especially for multi-pole or very long pin headers, packaging on reel is often not possible or feasible.

For keeping the total height as low as possible, we have optimized the trays for the SL-SMT pin headers with 1.5mm pin length - thus enabling their use in stack feeding modules.

The antistatic black polystyrene trays by Weidmüller comply with the JEDEC standard and follow IEC / EN60286-5 regarding design and size.

Assemply made simple

For a fully automated assembly the SL-SMT pin headers are available in automation-suitable packaging: "Tape on Reel" or "Tray". Moreover, for PCB placement via standard vacuum pipettes with straight SL-SMT / 180° pin headers a highly temperature resistant "pick-and-place-pad" serving as a suction aid is placed in the centre of the pin header. The SL-SMT / 90° angled pin headers by Weidmüller are designed in such a way that no "pick-and-place pad" is required for the automated pick-up.

Small, compact and convenient

Minimate Range require up to 10% less space on the PCB and save more than 30% space on the front panel - unbeatable arguments for the Minimate Range with double density in 3.5mm pitch.

Furthermore, you will be convinced by the tension clamp connection technique for conductor cross sections up to 1mm² and stackability without loss of pole numbers.

The 100% SMT pin headers of the Minimate Range can be used for all standard soldering processes due to their pin length of 3.2mm or respectively 3.5mm.
